Kimmyg

Everything is coming up roses for Kimmy! Having had a stash of Bullseye glass sitting waiting for play for over a year, the week before Xmas seemed like the ‘right’ time, if ever there is one and kimmy has been playing with the new colours….the resultant hand shaped flattened oval beads are quite large so make great focals, but also look great teamed together! Kimmy has also been continuing to produce her miniature perfume bottles (currently working on some new designs based on sea urchins!) as well as a few sets of beautiful barrel beads featuring organic patterns in raku frit and stringer.

WELCOME TO JENNI WISEMAN – JENNI DESIGNS AND MAKES SOME FABULOUS JEWELLERY USING OUR TEAMS ORIGINAL BEADS TO GIVE HER PIECES A UNIQUE FLAVOUR

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:29 pm by kim

Jenni’s new galleries feature some of her fabulous jewellery designs using feature beads often sourced from the NCBM site as well as other great components like Vintaj Brass! Jenni describes her ‘Mindil Series’ thus ….

Mindil Beach in Darwin is well visited by locals and tourists from April-October, our Dry Season, each year. Night markets are convened here twice weekly during The Dry, with vendors offering a range of beautiful art/craft items, more multicultural food than the Russian army could eat and interesting and enjoyable entertainment. As dark approaches, the most glorious colours can be seen in the sky. After dark, the celestial display of stars is outstanding. When I saw Bev Butler’s Ying Yang beads, I was reminded of these wonderful colours of nature. Hence, the Mindil Series was created”

Sandy Morrice

Sandy, being in Central Queensland, is enjoying temperatures around 43 degrees C at the present time, so I suspect the last thing she really wants to do is catch the sun, however, her latest range of suncatchers are sure to delight as they glitter and shimmer in the bright Australian sunshine!
