Maxine Chivers has listed some new items this week including sculptural off-mandrel leaves, complete with their own ladybugs!
Terri Kraehe is the latest flameworker to join the Northcoast Beadmakers team. Terri lives on a farm in South Australia and although much of the year she describes her surroundings as sun bleached and brown, there are times when the gumblossoms cover the trees in all their glory. At these times, Terri often cuts a bunch and places them in her studio to inspire her wonderful depictions of same. Terri also loves to depict cottage garden scenes, perhaps reminiscent of those she saw as a small child in England. These colourful depictions are what she would like to see outside her window, but I don’t think South Australia is the place Terri, being the driest state in the driest continent, it’s not looking good!
Here’s an example of one of Terri’s ready-to-wear pendants!
Sorry - couldn’t help myself…….load up your own images to make a jigsaw….I DID (mwauhaha) …..this site is so much fun! You can change the cut of the jigsaw if you wish. Some of them are enough to make me go cross-eyed! Check out the lizards cut when you have a chance. Ooooeer!

As well as her quirky aliens, skulls and doodlebugs, Maxine makes some fabulous miniature perfume bottles with an Australiana gumnut and gumblossom theme reflecting the seasonal changes in our eucalyptus trees! You can view them in the online store gallery, but here’s a preview
Some beautiful new listings from Pippa have been added just a few weeks ago. If you are a collector of Pandora, Biagi, Troll and Chamilia style jewellery, be sure to have a look at the latest submissions
We also sell snake chains necklace length and snake/spiga chain in bracelet length which these beads look fabulous on!
Congratulations to Su Bishop who was the runner up in the Vicki Torr prize at Ausglass 2009. Great achievement Su. Well done!

A big Northcoast WELCOME to Maxine Chivers who is the most recent flameworker to join the team!
Maxine makes some really quirky beads which I am fairly certain you won’t find anywhere else! Skulls, doodlebugs and aliens?!?! If you have a sense of fun these are for you!
Our very latest addition to the team is Tania Black. Tania makes absolutely stunning beads and we have been looking forward to seeing them on Northcoast for quite a while! The wait is finally over and Tania’s beads are here!
The latest listings from Tracy are just fabulous!! Beautiful goddess beads - Gaia, Artemis and Zena!
Probably the most stunning of all, in my opinion, are Tracy’s waterlily focal beads….. just gorgeous!
A big welcome to Pip Venter who has now joined the Northcoast team. Pippa makes beautiful silver cored big hole beads suitable for Biagi, Troll, Pandora and Chamilia, European style or charm beads. Pip individually hand makes the bead caps she uses from fine silver and we are sure you will agree, the resulting beads are sumptuous!!
